Charlene Campbell, BSM, MSM, LM, CPM has been passionately practicing and teaching midwifery for over 35 years and her knowledge and expertise have been shared world wide.

About Charlene LM, BSM, MSM
Since 1985, Charlene Campbell has been a trusted voice in midwifery, education, and safe birth practices. As a Licensed Midwife, educator, public speaker, and birth center owner, Charlene has dedicated her life to supporting families and strengthening the midwifery profession.
Charlene enjoyed many years in private practice in Issaquah, Washington, where she provided personalized, compassionate care to hundreds of families throughout their pregnancy and birth journeys.
Alongside her clinical work, she has held numerous academic leadership roles with the Midwives College of Utah—including Course Instructor, Course Developer, Academic Dean, and Midwifery Department Head—shaping the next generation of midwives with insight, rigor, and heart.
Her commitment to equity in midwifery led to her service on the Board of Directors for the Midwives Association of Washington State. As head of the Challenge Task Force, Charlene helped expand licensing pathways, making it possible for more midwives from diverse backgrounds to practice throughout Washington.
Charlene is the author of Errand of Angels Birth Education & Healing Circles. She is the Creator of BirthJoy DVD Series used by many universities the world over. She has practiced Wholistic Midwifery for over 35 years and has coached students as an instructor and mentor for many years. She specializes in preparing communities with the important response knowledge and helps them gather their sustainable birthing supplies for the potential event of a low resource birthing conditions developing.
