From the moment I stepped into the room, I felt warmth love and Abundance of Spirit. The wonderful instructors were so very knowledgeable and most of all gave me a feeling that I could do this!
I loved how they stress to let the natural process take place and to trust the Mom and guidance that the Spirit Will give. It is so comforting to know that angels will be there to assist us as well.
Sincerely, Alyson Collotyi
Being part of the childbirth gatherings really opened my eyes to how important this kind of preparation is. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know until I started learning the hands-on skills and simple, practical steps that can make such a difference. The practice scenarios and the calm, welcoming atmosphere helped everything click in a real, memorable way. Charlene has a way of teaching that makes you feel comfortable while still helping you grow. I now feel much more ready and confident!

I’ve always been fascinated by midwifery so being able to watch Charlene’s midwifery courses without enrolling in a costly program was so incredible to me. She’s a master teacher and has years of experience. I was fortunate enough to meet Charlene in person and she is every bit as amazing as you’d imagine. She is kind, compassionate and has such a vision for doing good in the universe. I can not recommend these course more. If you have been wanting to learn more about midwifery or become a certified midwife these courses are for you.

I loved joining the womens maternity circles! I am usually not one for group or party events so I wasnt sure how i would feel about the circles. I was pleasently surpised and relieved to find other people with similar and different interests and maternity journeys. It became a support group in a heartbeat to be on such similar pages as many others. To glean gathered knowlege from those around me, from the first time mother to others that were with their 6th child. I quickly looked forward to joining again and inviting others with me.

I had such an amazing experience taking Charlene Campbell’s course. It gave me such confidence and understanding of birth. Even though I had given birth to 4 children in my life,I didn’t have the depth of knowledge that I received going through this course. It helped me to let go of fears and gave me confidence to know what to do in different situations that could possibly come up. Role playing the different situations really helped the knowledge to be second nature. After taking the course I was at my daughter’s home birth and it made such a difference to me I knew exactly what to do and how to be to bring about the best outcome. The labor went quite quickly and the midwife just made it in time. But before she got there I was so confident and knew if the baby came I knew what to do. It gave me peace and that’s so very important.
I’m so thankful that she shared her endless and powerful knowledge and experience with us. Thank you Charlene.
Always grateful, Theresa Hill Mother of 4
I have attended many of Charlene’s low resource and emergency childbirth classes over a four-year period, and have learned so much. I’ve learned not only about the mechanics of birth, and how to handle complications like shoulder dystocia and maternal hemmorage, but most importantly, how to trust in the birth process and the birthing mom. I had my two babies during the years I participated in Charlene’s classes. Much of the confidence I gained to birth my babies at home I can attribute to Charlene and these classes. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, passion, and experience!

I enjoyed watching this video Charlene. You are addressing a topic that is generally neglected so this will be very helpful to so many women. I enjoyed hearing you sing, you voice is so beautiful.
Labor and Delivery Training for Low Resource and Emergency Situations is an amazing learning tool for parents or practitioners alike!
This DVD and manual is great for any expecting parents, or anyone attending birth, as it helps to dispel so much of the cultural fear that affects our responses to the natural flow of birth.
This training set is specifically helpful for those who will be assisting women in out of hospital settings during any kind of situation, including precipitous birth, pandemic, post disaster civil unrest or other emergency settings. It offers wisdom on how to honor the sacred design of birth and to support the mother and baby in the safest way.
I highly recommend this wonderful film and manual for groups or individuals who desire to learn basic, simple skills of responding in physiologic ways to the natural process of birth for the best possible outcomes.”

It is my sincere honor to recommend Charlene Campbell, a deeply caring and exceptionally dedicated midwife whose compassion and commitment continue to make a profound impact on the communities she serves.
Charlene is one of the most kind-hearted, compassionate, and passionate individuals I have had the privilege of knowing. She is always willing to help, always willing to listen, and has a unique gift for making every person feel valued—as though each one is her favorite. Her presence is comforting, her attitude uplifting, and her heart fully invested in the wellbeing of others.
In the realm of birth work, Charlene is both highly knowledgeable and remarkably experienced. Her years of hands-on experience, combined with her extensive clinical understanding, make her a trusted resource and a steady, reassuring presence in any situation. Her skill, intuition, and calm confidence reflect her deep dedication to mothers, babies, and families.
Although Charlene is not currently practicing as a midwife, she has been directing her efforts toward an equally vital mission: creating and distributing emergency birth resources for low-resource and disaster-affected settings. Charlene has worked hard to empower women and communities by developing accessible educational tools—including pamphlets, DVDs, instructional videos, and in-person classes—to ensure that safe birth practices can be carried out even when professional medical support is unavailable. Her initiative, forward-thinking, and devotion to saving lives in crisis situations is very admirable.
Despite facing significant personal challenges in recent times, Charlene has demonstrated remarkable strength and perseverance. She continues to move forward with purpose and courage, living out her mission with unwavering dedication.
Charlene Campbell is a rare and exceptional individual—compassionate, skilled, resilient, and wholeheartedly committed to helping others. I recommend her without hesitation and with the utmost confidence.

I am sending my recommendation for the Birth Joy Education classes and educational material. I was privileged to attend Charlene’s classes in person a few years back and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Not to mention I learned a lot. Charlene is very experienced in birth and especially low resource birth. She is an excellent teacher and her material is very much worthwhile for anyone interested in birth or birth work. I endorse her and her work. She has become a trusted friend as well.
Blessings, Angie Jerome RN
I used Charlene’s videos when I was a midwifery student, and I recommend them to anyone wanting to learn more about how to be an exceptional midwife. I learn best from visual demonstrations and explanations, and I don’t believe there’s anything better available for learning and/or improving midwifery skills. I especially love the videos, but everything from Birth Joy Education is excellent.
